Why Choose Us?
At Munchkins and Monet, we’re on a mission to pull kids away from screens and into the magic of creativity. Our 90-minute sessions are more than just painting—they’re an opportunity for kids to express themselves, make friends, and dive into hands-on fun, all while grooving to the beats of our live DJ.
Studies show too much screen time can stifle creativity, so we’re flipping the script with brushes, paint, and imagination. Our events help kids build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and learn the joys of creating something from scratch—all in a vibrant, party-like atmosphere.
Parents, relax while the little ones let their imaginations run wild. Because at Munchkins and Monet, we’re not just painting pictures—we’re creating moments that matter.

Here’s why Munchkins and Monet is both beneficial and educational for children:
1. Fosters Creativity and Self-Expression

7. A Screen-Free Creative Outlet
- Provides a much-needed break from screens, replacing digital entertainment with tactile, hands-on fun.
- Allows kids to fully immerse themselves in the joy of creating something tangible.
8. Fun Yet Structured Learning
- The 90-minute session strikes the perfect balance between structure (learning techniques and themes) and free exploration, keeping kids engaged without feeling overwhelmed.
9. Inspires Lifelong Learning
- Introducing kids to art in an enjoyable way might spark a passion for creativity or inspire them to explore other forms of self-expression.
- They leave with not only a painting but also a deeper appreciation for art and its role in telling stories and expressing emotions.
10. Builds Memories and Keepsakes
- Every child leaves with their own masterpiece, serving as a reminder of the fun they had while learning something new.
- Shared experiences create lasting memories for both children and parents.
Munchkins and Monet isn’t just a fun event—it’s an opportunity to help kids grow, learn, and express themselves in an inspiring and supportive environment!
In today’s digital age, it’s easy to see how much time kids are spending in front of screens. Whether it’s for schoolwork, gaming, or just unwinding with a YouTube video, screen time is on the rise. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, kids aged 2 to 5 should have no more than one hour of screen time a day, and kids aged 6 and older should have consistent limits on the time they spend in front of screens
. Too much screen time has been linked to a variety of developmental issues, including difficulties with focus, attention, and sleepe's the thing: our children are incredibly creative, and they have the capacity to express themselves in ways that we sometimes forget about. This is where we come in. Munchkins and Monet isn’t just about painting or creating art—it’s about reintroducing creativity into our homes, reconnecting children with a medium that allows them to express their thoughts, feelings, and dreams without a screen in sight.
We believe that art is a tool that helps children build confidence, problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence. Through painting, children can explore their imagination, develop fine motor skills, and, most importantly, have fun while doing it! When kids take part in activities like these, they learn how to communicate and express themselves beyond just words or screens.
With so many distractions around, we want to create spaces where children can focus on the joy of creating—where technology takes a backseat, and the magic of art comes to life. It’s not just about limiting screen time; it’s about making space for something meaningful—whether that’s a brushstroke on a canvas or a new connection made with a friend.
Here at Munchkins and Monet, we’re excited to give children an opportunity to explore and create in a safe, fun, and screen-free environment. This is about more than just art; it’s about encouraging social interaction, fostering creativity, and building lasting memories—without the constant pull of a screen.
Thank you for supporting us in our mission to bring art, fun, and creativity back into the lives of children. Let’s make art cool again!"
